Earth

Making the planet Earth:

The view of the Atlantic Ocean.

You’ll need:

Colour tissue paper with black and white too.

A3 white paper, cotton wool, string and silver foil.

How to make this in 5 steps:

Step 1:

Draw a large circle or use this template:

A 3.30 mins YouTube video showing how to do this will follow shortly:

Step 2:

Draw an outline for the continents including the UK Europe, Africa, South, Central and North Amarica and the Arctic with the Atlantic ocean in the middle.

Use a tub of water, brush and P{VA glue with tissue paper.

Start to cover all the earth with light blue tissue paper wetting all the paper and ripping small parts to cover the areas:

Step 3:
Cover the land with yellow tissue paper. Build up the land mass with the colour tissue paper overlapping some of the yellow, green and orange tones.

Step 4:

Cover all the areas of the land overlapping tones and the sea with dark blue. Then build up the space background with black and blue tissue paper.

Step 5:

Add extras like cotton wool for colds, string or the earth’s atmosphere, and silver foil for the shiny areas on earth such as ice and shivering ocean.

Complete the artwork of Earth with the moon made from silver foil to the left, cotton wool for clouds and a white border background to frame the planet that we call home:
