About Blind Create

Creativity Without Limits

Blind Create is an inclusive creative platform that uses art, storytelling and hands-on projects to inspire people of all ages and abilities.

The journey began while working with veterans who were blind or partially sighted over a seven-year period. During this time, a range of accessible art techniques were developed to encourage confidence, creativity and participation through art.

Today, Blind Create has grown beyond specialist art tuition and now includes educational projects, school author sessions, Mission to the Moon, sensory resources and creative collaborations with schools, organisations and communities in the UK and internationally.

At its heart, Blind Create aims to make creativity accessible, enjoyable and inspiring for everyone. Whether through painting, storytelling, space-themed projects or learning new artistic skills, every project is designed to build confidence, curiosity and wellbeing.

Blind Create continues to evolve, bringing together art, education and imagination to encourage people to explore, create and discover new possibilities.

Wellbeing, Safety & Support

Blind Create sessions are inclusive, wellbeing-focused and designed to provide a safe and supportive environment. When working with care homes and supported settings, care staff or support workers are present to provide assistance where required. Activities are adapted to each individual's needs and abilities, with participation encouraged at a pace that feels comfortable for everyone.
