MISSION TO THE MOON - A special online Art fun project....

These are all shown below as small group templates to print out onto A4 paper.

Step 5: Once the characters have been cut out leaving about 2mm excess around the outline, place them how you want hem on your background.

Step 10: Carefully position collage on.

Step 13: A paint brush can also be used to put glue on, just remember to wash the brush after.

Step 16: Cut out a paper curve shape like a galaxy and colour with paint sticks or similar.

Step 20: Add glitter to selected features to finish, putting glue on the surface first.

Step 21: Complete kinetic collage by adding tinsel to the 2 stars. The stars will shimmer and shine.

Step 2: Cut the characters out with scissors - leaving a space around the outline:

Step 8: Place collage of different textures and colours onto each character or feature.

Cut out the shapes and place them temporarily in situ until you’re ready to glue into place.

Step 11: Place on collage.

Step 14: Place collage on.

Step 19: Stick velcro onto back of feature or character. Any feature can be swapped with another to change the composition.

Step 17: Place tinsel on stars to make them sparkle.

Step 1: Print 5 templates.

All the templates here can be printed out on A4:

Choose white or colour

Paper or card:

Template of - toilet pipe- ‘Down the pipe it will flow’.

Step 4: If painting- apply the paint using brush or sponge.

To selected parts of the feature. Don’t paint all of the feature- leave white spaces.

Step 3: Choose what background you’ll use:

Background on A3 card - can be painted using acrylic or watercolour.

Use a variety of colours, but use mainly purple and blue with some orange. It may take about an hour to dry so while the background is painted, the characters can be worked on.

Or:

A3 Black or coloured card- purple, dark blue would be fitting as a background.

Step 7: Paint character and features with war colour: use water and brushes.

Step 9: Put glue on.

Step 12: Choose another character and put glue on.

Step 15: Place gold textured collage on rock shape.

Step 18: Use velcro to stick onto background.
